The MBC donated to the Medway Foundation for Education (MFE) Trivia Bee by sponsoring a team of Middle School Teachers. Almost 150 people attended the Bee, which was held  on March 1 and won by the High School Teachers’ team. The McGovern School Teachers came in second and the School Committee placed third.

Contributions such as the MBC’s allow MFE to continue to “fund innovative and important programs that enrich the educational experiences of the students of Medway and their teachers and parents.” A grant process is used to allocate funds raised through community events, contributions and educational grants for teacher-sponsored projects.
