Celebrate Medway Day, the annual “Giveback to the Town,” is on Saturday, July 15, from 2:00-9:30 pm at Choate Park and the Thayer Homestead.  Join us for a day full of activities for the young and old alike. This year’s popular activities include a remote control racetrack, a climbing wall, multiple bouncy houses, and boating on the pond (boats supplied). Medway Cafe will host a beer garden on the Thayer House lawn where you can sip your favorite beverage while listening to the sounds of the Lake Shore Drive Band during the afternoon, followed by the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra at 7:00 p.m. Bring a chair and/or a blanket to enjoy the fireworks display at dusk that is sure to light up the night sky.

Kids will enjoy various games and activities throughout the day, such as face painting, crafts, a magician, and balloon animals. The Medway Fire Department will be on hand with some fun firefighter foam.

Like in years past, the community event will feature old-fashioned prices on refreshments, and there will even be a watermelon-eating contest at 4:00 pm.
