MBC Needs Board of Director Nominations & Volunteers by April 30

The Nominating Committee of the Medway Business Council is seeking members to serve on the MBC Board of Directors for 2016-2017. At this point in time, it appears that one or more of our current board members will not be able to serve next year due to other commitments.  Therefore, we are in need of nominees and nominations to fill open positions.

No prior experience is necessary to serve as an MBC Board of Director. The only requirements are being a member in good standing, who is willing to be involved and able attend board meetings and events.  Beyond the board, MBC is also in need of volunteers to be involved on various committees including Program, Membership and Digital IT.

An organization such as MBC requires members who are willing to act in leadership and volunteer roles to undertake the various tasks required to make our organization successful.  If you have any interest and would like to learn more about being an MBC Board of Director or volunteering for a committee, please contact Debbie Anderson, Paul Rao or Carolyn Chodat.

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for the Board of Directors, please complete the Slate of Nominations form on our website. In addition to the form, you will find links to our current leadership team and the MBC by-laws, which describe the responsibilities.

The Slate of Nominations will be voted on by members at the MBC annual meeting in May.
