Volunteer with the MBC at Medway Community Farm! Wednesday May 29th 1-4 PM

Looking for a fun way to give back to your community?  The Medway Business Council will be volunteering at Medway Community Farm for a day of meaningful service and connection with nature.  You can help support our community and cultivate sustainable agriculture.  This event is suitable for all abilities and non-green thumb folks too… all are welcome!

Join members of the Medway Business Council at Medway Community Farm on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 1-4 p.m.  We are looking for approximately 20 people to join our team and help in the greenhouse and around the farm.  It’s a great way to give back to our Medway community together and do some bonding with other businesses in Medway. Fun and laughter are guaranteed!

Location: Medway Community Farm is located at 50 Winthrop St Medway MA 02053. Upon arrival, please check in at the administrative office or with a farm representative in the parking lot.

Attire: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and we suggest bringing a hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. Gloves and any necessary tools will be provided on-site.

Tasks and Activities: Volunteer activities vary depending on the current needs of the farm. You might find yourself planting seedlings, weeding, harvesting produce, or assisting with farm maintenance tasks. MCF staff will provide clear instructions and guidance for each activity.

Please register so we know you are coming and bring a friend – many hands make light farm work!

If interested in joining us at this event, email MBC Past President Julie Dennehy at julie@dennehypr.com
