Please welcome our newest MBC member and new Medway business: Direct Tire & Auto Service. The Medway location – the fifth in the state – opened the beginning of May at 72 Main Street. With 7,300 square feet of service space, Direct Tire looks to continue their 41-year tradition of offering independent, unbiased repair education and sales advice. Their mission is to exceed their clients’ expectation and provide the best customer service.

On July 20, members of the MBC and representatives of the Town of Medway gathered to celebrate the opening and participate in a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony. MBC Vice President Paul Rao made opening remarks welcoming the Direct Tire team to Medway.

Direct Tire founder and CEO Barry Steinberg and Medway manager Doug Smith gave the group a tour of the facility. The eight-bay tire and auto service center is designed with environmentally sound materials, including concrete Hardie siding, heating through recycled motor oil and lush landscaping.

In addition to their commitment to service, customer education and the environment, Direct Tire plans to continue the company’s long-standing tradition of community giving in the Medway area. As an example, Direct Tire is supporting Medway Gridiron by donating 3% of gross sales to the organization whenever “Medway Gridiron” is mentioned at the point of sale from now through Labor Day.
