Member Spotlight: Medway Village Food Pantry 

The Medway Village Food Pantry is dedicated to providing dignified access to nutritious food, personal care items, and household goods for our neighbors in need. Operated entirely by volunteers, the pantry follows a “choice model,” allowing clients to select the items that best fit their families. In FY25, we distributed 317,774 lbs. of food and goods, including 68,000 lbs. of fresh produce and over 73,000 diapers – making a meaningful impact on thousands of local families.

Together with the Medway Food Pantry at Mahan Circle, we serve more than 1,000 Medway residents each year. This includes 33% children, 16% seniors, and represents 9% of all householdsin town. 

To better meet this growing need – demand has increased 200% since 2020 – we are excited to announce an upcoming merger between the two pantries. By joining forces, we will create a stronger, more sustainable support system for local families. 

The next critical step is finding a new, larger location where the unified pantry can call home. A bigger space will allow us to welcome more families, expand hours, and ensure that no Medway resident goes without the support they need.
