FREE FOR MEMBERS! Thursday Pop-Ups at the Medway Community Farm – Extended through October!

The Medway Community Farm at 50 Winthrop Street in Medway has started to have weekly pop-up Thursdays on the farm from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. This ‘farmtastic’ opportunity is intended to allow any local businesses that set up shop at the old Medway Farmers Market a place to still get in front of the public. In addition, they are offering to waive the standard weekly fee of $25 for current members in good standing of the Medway Business Council for a 10×10 booth space! Businesses are responsible for their own tent, table/chairs, and set-up/take-down, just like at a farmers’ market. It is asked that you be set up and ready by 3PM and take down your booth right at 6PM. Thursday Pop-Ups at MCF is held rain or shine.

Space is limited! To take advantage of this offer, please contact MCF Manager Todd Sandstrum and offered to MBC members on a first come first serve basis.

Medway Community Farm (MCF) was founded through grassroots efforts in 2009 with the goal of stewarding land for agricultural and educational purposes. With the support of our community, volunteers, board, and staff, the Farm now occupies 18 acres of growing fields, conservation land, walking trails, and wooded areas.

Through sustainable and organic growing practices, our fields yield fresh vegetables, herbs, and flowers that we provide to Members through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model as well as to retail customers online, in the Farm Store, and at local Farmers Markets. We are committed to building food access in our area by participating in SNAP & HIP programs, and by donating a portion of the produce we grow to the food pantries at Medway Village Church and Mahan Circle, as well as Medway House Family Shelter.

MCF strives to create a gathering place dedicated to a shared passion for nature, land stewardship, and organic farming by offering meaningful hands-on educational programs and on-farm community events that cater to all ages. Visitors are encouraged to stop by and walk the property using farm roads and walking trails. We also welcome you to reach out and schedule a visit with us.
